Beyond Hula Hooping
I chose to do my paper on the health benefits of Hula Hooping. Back in the days when I was first introduced to Hula Hooping I was about 6 years old, immediately it was my thing to do, and it still is. I never was told that hula hooping was actually a great workout, I always thought it was something my mom gave to keep me busy, hula hooping turns out to be an enjoyable and effective way to generate health benefits,who knew! This essay will explain in detail what type of health benefits hula hooping have for us.
Apparently there are six benefits of hula hooping. Hula hooping helps to burn fat,
hula hooping requires effort from some of the biggest muscles in the body. These muscles require a significant amount of energy, so it forces the body to burn fat stores. The are about 30 major muscles around the core area, which means that you will be strengthening your core, this means a flatter belly!
Muscles that can be toned by hula hooping include: glutes, thighs, hips, legs, knees and abdomen. I also found out that it could help self-conscious timid children about athletic participation overcome their fears and gain health benefits. Great benefit that we should take advantage, core strengthening and muscle toning.
Keeping your heart healthy is very important as well, hula hooping gives us cardiovascular endurance one hour of intense hooping is equivalent to an hour long run on a treadmill, WOW! Yeah that's what I said, so move over treadmill. Hooping is a low impact activity that can help you regulate your body weight and build cardiovascular endurance. I consider myself a beginner and what I have realize is yes, you can build up a sweat with a standard 1 pound hoop
