There appears to be a few problems that Tex-Mark is experiencing at this point in time. First, Eric Christopher seems to be overwhelmed with a lot of what is going on. He's trying to work on too many different tasks at one time. Trying to balance all the thing s on his plate is causing a huge amount of stress. From trying to solve his issues with Fred Banks to determining the necessary training needed for all employees going overseas to the need to cut costs he has a lot of things to keep him busy.

One of the bigger issues that Eric is dealing with right now includes Fred Banks, an engineer who is from back in the day when Tex-Mark spun off from Dell. Fred seems to have some management issues that have created issues in his current assignments. A lack of assigning duties and training employees led to him missing out on an assignment that he had been promised and he now had some anger towards current management.

Another issue for Eric to deal with include the expatriate peparation program that he helped create, which goes hand in hand with his issue with Ms. Roberto, the VP of HR who is expecting a cut in costs, which affects his training program in that they want streamlined training, shorter expatriate assignments and faster HCN's assigned moving forward.

Eric's problem now lies in determining how to do that and still maintain a helpful expatriate training program. His feelings are that they dont currently do enough to help with expatriation, but he doesn't feel he can expand on it as he would like and still keep the costs of the program down as Ms. Roberto would like.

The issues with Fred, I'm not sure they can be fixed. At this point he has his opinion of what the company is doing and you hate to loose a dedicated employee, especially one who has worked so well for them, but he isn't pulling his weight and doing what he was hired to do. Delaying projects in the long run might possibly be costing them more than trying to find someone else who can do the job.

As far as Ms. Roberto goes, I think that Eric needs to voice his opinion about the training that is currently in place, explaining that it isn't sufficient and how
