Final Project : Family

A man is in his kitchen making coffee. The table has several textbooks on it. He hears a knock on the door.

Policeman 1: “Son I have some tough news. May we come in? (walks in). Last night there was some disturbance in your parents neighborhood, a thief was on the prowl. We found that they broke into your  parents house. The whole house is ransacked, but it didn't look like they took much. It was almost like they were looking for something specific.  And….. this is very difficult to say, but your parents were killed during the robbery, we’re very sorry.

 “We rushed your parents to a hospital as soon as we found them but they were declared dead right away. Both died to wounds to the head by some blunt object. Your parents probably spotted the thieves and they panicked and ended up wounding them severely. There have been multiple reports of robberies in their neighborhood of late. It really shocks us because your parents neighborhood isn’t close to any of the high crime rate areas of our district. The thieves have been quite meticulous and have not slipped up even once, until now. We have a suspect-

Me: (Uncontrollable emotional and shock ) Wait, let me get my brother.

( main character still walking away swiftly)

Me: “Policemen have just showed up at the door and have informed that our parents are dead, you should come down right away”

(the policeman are shocked at the sight of the brother)

Policeman: He matches the sketch of the suspect perfectly!

Policeman1: You are under arrest for the murder of -

 (Brother pulls out his knife and slits the policemans throat.

The main character wakes up and realizes it was all a dream. He goes to the kitchen to get a glass of water. He picks up a knife lying on the table. It’s stained red. He turns around and sees his brother standing there.
