There are many theories that explain how the world began, both scientifically and biblically. Nevertheless, there are also contradicting theories on how humans are created and how nature was formed. And basically, our belief depends on what culture we belonged to. During the evolution of time, we have heard debates and conflicts on what really is the truth behind the existence of everything. But whatever the truth is, what’s important is that we knew we have lives and we live to care for Mother Earth.

As humans, we are stewards of God’s creation. Our mission is to take good care of it and promote its abundance. But what have we done to save to the Earth? Are we really saving it? Or are we both unconsciously and consciously rejecting the idea that Mother Earth is slowly dying?

Now, what if I tell you that nature has her own life? And we are slowly depriving her from her natural beauty? Does that ring a bell? Yes, it does, it should. Life is full of choices, consequences, reasons, and circumstances. Beyond the point of living with different kinds of people, we were created unique yet equal. We possess diverse abilities and skills. But what’s common to all people is that we always do our best to survive. No matter how difficult our situations are, we always find ways to continue living. And because of this, we tend to destroy to create; survival of the fittest, perhaps. We, people must know that our wrong doings with nature started every calamity that we are facing nowadays; global warming, flooding, storm surges and many other natural disasters that are life-taking. When we took the life of our nature, she is also taking her revenge to us. Mother Earth is avenging us from the fact that we, the so-called her stewards who’re supposed to be caring for her, are the ones destroying her.

Aside from the idea that we destroyed nature because we wanted to live longer on Earth, human behaviors are very non-promising
