In order to see a high success rate for Landslide Limousines, it is extremely important that strategic performance is implemented into the management framework of the company. When the performance management plan and the business strategy align Landslide Limousine will have a very high success rate for the first year of operation. The company must have a strong organizational philosophy and job analysis method in order to define the skills that employees must have. In addition to this, it is very important that Landslide Limousines establish a method for measuring the employees’ skills and create a process that will address any skills gaps that are found. Not to mention, there needs to be a set approach for delivering effective performance feedback. Therefore, Atwood and Allen Consulting will be providing recommendations to follow that will ensure success for the performance management plan of Landslide Limousines.
Align the Performance Management Framework and Business Strategy
As previously mentioned when the performance management plan and the business strategy are aligned, Landslide Limousine will be very successful. Since the goal of Landslide Limousines is to provide their customers with an exceptional and memorable transportation experience it is very important that the performance management framework works to encourage this. In order for this to happen, the performance management plan must include a clear definition of the performance that is expected based off of the goals that will need to be met by employees. In addition to this, it is very important that the employees are aware of what the goals of the company are so that they can work together to achieve those goals. Another way that the performance management plan and business strategy can be kept in alignment is by periodically collecting, measuring, and analyzing any feedback or data about the business to see if the goals created in your business strategy are being met. If this is paired with individual employee performance evaluation it will ensure that the performance of the employees is in alignment with what is needed for the business strategy to be a success.
