This calendar relates to students following a standard undergraduate academic year. For undergraduate students who have an extended year (for

example Education students who have teaching practice), details of their patterns of expected attendance and of assessment will be published in

individual course guides/handbooks issued by the Faculty responsible for the programme. The calendar also specifies those weeks during which it is

expected that the vast majority of teaching staff will need to be in attendance for teaching and related duties. These dates will not necessarily apply

to all teaching staff.
