Speeding
Speeding is against the law and can result in many negative outcomes. Speeding can be very dangerous and even fatal in some cases. Consequences like getting a ticket, getting in an accident, or running someone over can be outcomes of speeding. If you get too many tickets your license can even get suspended. 41 million tickets are issued every year. It can easily cause an injury to your self or even worse causing an injury to someone else. You should always abide by the rules of the state and be aware of speed limits. If you cause an accident that can severely damage your car as well as other cars involved. No one should ever be careless and ignore the speed limits. It is wrong to disobey laws no matter if you think it is okay or not.
Along with watching your speed, it is important to pay attention to the road and your surroundings while driving. Unexpected things can happen while driving. For instance an animal could run in front of the car and you would have no time to react and slow down your speed. Speed limits are set for a reason to avoid many different hazards. Cops can be around every corner tracking your speed and giving out tickets. If you are exceeding your speed while trying to go through a light that is turning red you could cause a serious collision. Higher speeds impact potential energy to the vehicle. Speeding is socially one of the most known laws so we should always consciously remind ourselves to obey speed limits. Having road rage can cause people to speed. Some people get very anxious and act like they are in a rush to get to their destinations, which causes speeding. In residential areas they are slower speed limits set than on highways and freeways. Speeding in school zones is considered one of the most dangerous speeding limit laws to break.
