The average adult needs 7-9 hours of sleep

If you do not get that average you leave yourself with the risks of…

• Increased risk of motor vehicle accidents

• Increased appetite caused by sleep deprivation

• Increased risk of diabetes and heart problems

• Increased risk for depression and substance abuse

• Decreased ability to pay attention
