Stock Simulation Report – BURSA Market Place.

        First and foremost, this assignment is a game of investment that we played in Bursa Market Place website. It is a kind of stock simulation whereby we use non-physical money to for trading. I used to take RM100,000 as the initial investment to trade in this Bursa Market Place to feel like the real trading in Bursa. Firstly, I bought stocks from Sime Darby and Petronas Dagang at RM9.33 and RM24.06 for each stock where both of them in the same quantity, 1000 units of shares.

At the first moment, I used to have only four stocks in my watch lists; that are IOI Properties, Petronas Dagang, Sime Darby, and Aeon Credit. I chose these four stocks to be analysed based on their good performance. Next, I added another more stocks to my watch list; that are Top Glove, Aeon Credit, Aeon Corporation, IOI Properties, IOI Corporation Berhad, Gadang Holdings, DRB HICOM, Yee Lee and Hengyuan Berhad (current name for Shell Refining Berhad). I used to analyse all these additional stocks based on what my group already analysed on their performance, risk and return for each stocks.

So I have RM66610 more to invest another stocks but I choose to wait. Later I check Bursa Market Place, I got loss for both stocks (refer to Figure 6) about RM-130.000 and I decided to but another more stocks to increase my value. So I decided to buy another five stocks from different sectors that are IOI Properties, AEON Credit, Gadang Holdings Bhd, DRB Hicom, Yee Lee Corporation and Henyuan Ref. All of these that I bought based on the performance given by analysist consensus in Bursa. Refer to figure 7, 8, 9 and 10.
