Here at The Bloom Design Group we strive to offer the utmost service for interior design to businesses and individuals worldwide. Two of our corporate offices are located in New York and Los Angeles. The website for our company offers a virtual decorating tool, so existing clients are given the opportunity to experiment with different color and design schemes. What’s great about this tool is that it allows clients to develop an idea of what their design project would look like without having to make a decision right away. This tool is great because it helps prevent people from making impulsive decisions and wasting money, before knowing what they really want. Another great feature to our website is that interior designers are given access to their client files, company style guides, and create the ability to process orders for design materials and furniture, electronically.
Like any other website, we want to ensure our clients that their personal information will remain confidential, therefore, we go the extra mile at Bloom Design Group to do so. After much research and thought, we have come to the conclusion that an issue-specific policy is most appropriate for our business. Issue-specific policies address policies on a broad level, which tends to involve the entire organization. This is the right suit for our company because employees have full access to client information. Issue-specific policies will only grant permission to those who need to access information for specific purposes. It also mentions the role(s) and responsibilities of the individual and what access will be granted to them.
The confidentiality, integrity, and availability principles of information security will play a great role. Confidentiality will ensure client and company information remains private and will only be used by authorized individuals and/or organizations. Integrity means that information should be not changed without authorization while it is stored or conveyed.
