I think we were walking in a circle, because the place where we stopped at was where we first started. Although, this time, I saw two Ghosts hobbling along on the hard grass, both were women - one with brown hair and one with hair the color of dirty gold. The Brown Haired Woman wore an old pants suit; her hair was streaked with grey and quite askew. The Blond Haired Woman wore a silver evening gown that had seen better days; her hair was so dirty that I could see clumps of mud in it. Then one of the Solid People, a man, seemed to appear out of nowhere, striding up to meet them. The Blond Haired Woman looked disgusted, like she couldn’t bear to be in his presence, while the Brown Haired Woman looked terrified of him.

“Why, Sarah!” He exclaimed, addressing the Blond Haired Woman, and then he turned to the Brown Haired Woman, “And Rachel, you came! I was afraid you would stay in Hell forever.”

“Well, it’s certainly not that bad compared to walking around in this place, is it, John?” said the Blond Haired Woman.

“Whatever do you mean?” asked the Spirit, looking sincerely perplexed. “Surely, this is the most beautiful place you have seen? Look at the trees, look at the grass, and the water, too!”

“That is our point!” said the Brown Haired Woman, looking like she would stomp her foot if the grass weren’t so sharp. “We can’t go anywhere or do anything without terrible pain. Everything weighs a ton, the water is too solid, and the grass is sharp like knives under out feet. How do you reckon we get around?”

“If you stay, your feet will become strong and tough over time, until you are like me.” stated the Spirit.

“But we can’t stay here,” protested the Ghosts simultaneously.

“Yes, you can! I stayed. I was hoping you would stay, too, forever.”

“Oh, really?” The Brown Haired Woman had an incredulous look on her face. “Why would I want to stay with you anymore, John? We dated once, if you don’t remember. You told me you loved me, I said it back. And I meant it, John. But then you betrayed me! You left me because I wasn’t beautiful enough for you, and because I wore this thing so often,” she spat
