Another recommendation we have for the Brandywiners is to utilize their Facebook page more aggressively. We want to provide and maintain a "No dead period" in terms of advertising for the show, applying their Facebook page to this idea is one way the Brandywiners can achieve this goal. Providing more posts will hopefully stimulate awareness in general and by posting funny or original videos we will be able to better engage consumers and begin to build up the Brandywiners community. An example of this is to post a video of one of the original Annie get your gun songs and encourage people to come out for the show. The Facebook page will be mentioned in all forms of advertising (direct mail, posters, etc.) and especially in emails due to the ease of providing the Facebook page URL directly in the email. In these emails as well as various Facebook page posts we ask our Facebook fans to share the Brandywiners Facebook page with their current friends, share the video posts with them and ask them to "Like" the page. The main goal behind this it to get more "Likes" which will increase awareness as well as effectiveness through this free advertising social media platform.
In terms of Facebook, we also want to link up the Brandywiners and Longwood Gardens Facebook events. Currently the Brandywiners have 293 likes vs. Longwood Gardens 52,944 likes. We want to provide one event page rather than two separate pages so that both Longwood Gardens and the Brandywiners are the host of this one event. This will create and drive more traffic to the Brandywiners Facebook page by giving all Brandywiners access to the Longwood Gardens 53,944 likes which will in return hopefully increase brand awareness. For example, people will click on the event description from the Longwood Gardens page and under the "Check out the details for the show" part place the Brandywiners webpage and phone number.
