Writing After College

Its hard to imagine life after college, but exciting also because I will be able to use the tools I have learned in the upcoming busy everyday life. Good writing is important after college because in my future career, as a Physical Therapist, I will need to know how to write medical terms correctly and it will also be important when I come in contact with people after college to show professionalism with my writing.
After going to college for about a year now, I have chosen a new career as a Physical Therapist. With much research and much thinking I put the two most important passions that I have teaching and helping others. As we all know going to the doctors can be very interesting. For example the terminology they use to explain to you what virus you have and or what kind of fracture you have sustained.
My career path is going to take quite a bit of school. Also, I will have to explain the terms to my patients in the easiest way to understand.In the field of physical therapy you give your patients many diagnosis and have to write out their at home program. Having good writing skills lets my patients and coworkers know I am educated in my field of physical therarpy.If I don't practice good writing skills now, it will become a problem for me in my future career. For example, say I write a term wrong, my patient might take this as a very unprofessional way of expressing my medical degree that I have earned, and in turn that could affect my career.Reading and writing go hand in hand. If you don't write well, your reading will not be very good. There is going to be quite a bit of reading on my part to prepare for my future career .For example I am going to read new terminology which I know is my responsibility to know how to say correctly.Patients come into the office thinking they will get the top of the line care and their therapist will know what they're doing.It seems like a big responsibility when I think about it, but I know all
