Hindsight I know but if you compare our transfer dealings with the likes of Spurs and Newcastle, it does not make for good reading. Now the Spurs are rumoured to be in pole for Hazard and probably for not much more than we paid for Downing. Enrique and Bellers have been class buys and Hendo has potential but seriously if you were FSG would you trust Kenny or whoever is deciding on these players, with another 50 million or so nett this summer? Moneyball this certainly aint. Love KK but if I was Mr Henry I would be getting concerned. Ed / Macca what us your thoughts?
The Jackal.
{Ed002's Note - THoughts are Hazard was never going to sign for Liverpool and there is no deal with Spurs.off the suarez subject, but luuk de jong. has any more interest been made? or are we awaiting to see how good he will do in euro's. i think that would be stupid as he is a great player and would have been a decent price vs what he could be at summers end. decent as in 12 - 17 mil {Ed009's Note - I think, if we were all that interested, we would have moved in January.}}Gents,
Let's stop getting our knickers in a twist that Luis Suarez is going to leave in the summer time. He is not, repeat not, going to leave anytime soon.
The reason for this is that for Liverpool FC, FSG, and Standard Chartered have all drawn a line under the whole saga and are now looking forward to focussing on striving for that CL spot. Even Manchester United have come out and said that for them the matter is closed and Luis himself has apologized for not shaking hands with Patrice Evra. So provided he doesn't do anything stupid between now and the end of the season, he will be still LFC come the start of the new season. Unless maybe he scores that many that Real suddenly decide he is better than Higuain or Benzema.
So lads, chill, it is now all water under the bridge and Kenny and Luis will now simply focus on football, as will everyone else. I for one, am looking forward to the lad playing more often and hopefully him notching a few/as many as possible goals up.
Eden Hazard
Have to get this one straight form the horses mouth, before it gets misconstrued badly by the time it gets to UK press. And surprisingly, the BBC have even reported that Hazard might have agreed terms with
