Live from Bonnaroo Music Festival 2002

As I watched the Bonnaroo Music Festival on my laptop I had flashbacks to the many times I have attended Coachella Music Festival and I just felt the vibrations of the speakers pulse through my body again. Watching the video felt like I was there in the moment enjoying the music with everyone. The video showed performances from multiple artists including Norah Jones, Jack Johnson, Galactic, Jurassic 5, North Mississippi Allstars, Karl Denson’s Tiny universe, Blind Boys of Alabama, The Del McCoury Band, and many more. It also goes behind the scenes into setting up the festival as well as a brief history of the start of Bonnaroo. It also includes interviews from some of the artists or bands that performed, as well as shows a clear image of what Bonnaroo is all about, which is family, love, and music.

For example, when I go to Coachella, I buy my tickets before the lineup even comes out because I know I will love it either way; one because music in general is fun no matter what and two because I go for the experience as well. A lot of the music styles at music festivals now are EDM, Alternative Rock, Hip-Hop, R&B, Rap, or Folk. There is a lot more variety in music styles now then there was back in 2002; where they had mostly just Alternative Rock or Heavy Metal.
