Abstract
In this paper I will explain my interpretation of the movie "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" and the losses that it entailed. I will also explain the stages of loss that I feel the 2 main characters were in as well as the behaviors used to mitigate, ignore or deal with their losses. I will also touch on how I believe the environment effected the responses to the loss for the characters in the movie.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
Prior to choosing this movie, I honestly took a few steps in researching which one I felt would be just the right movie for me. After going to the local Blockbuster Kiosk (DVD Dispenser) I was unable to locate any of the listed movies. I went to 4 locations including 2 retail stores with no luck. Finally I decided to surrender and simply sign up for the Netflix account which allows for immediate viewing and/or DVD in the mail if I chose. I chose the package with both.
