Mini-Design Cycle – Personal Introduction Movie

Directions – Please answer the following questions as complete as possible, using complete sentences.

1. You are going to make a movie that introduces who you are to me and the class.  In this movie, you are going to show me how well you know how to use the various multi-media features on our computers so I can get an idea of how much you know.  I also want to get a good idea of who you are, what you like to do, and how you creatively apply yourself.  So, with one paragraph, explain who you are so that if you were going to explain this to another person, they would get a brief idea.

1. For this project, we will be using the iPad and the Macbook computers.  What multi-media programs have you used in the past on these devices?  List three.  Give me a brief description of what you did with these programs.

1. Here are the following conditions that your movie must meet in order to meet our criteria for success.

1. First – Every movie needs to be five minutes or less.
2. Second – Every movie needs at least one scripted and acted 60 second scene.
3. Third – Every movie should use a combination of pictures and video and should have at least one section of background music.  All of these should relate to who you are as a person.
