Destiny Case

I believe that humans do not have the power to change their destiny. Destiny is something meant to be, as well as fate. It is the point that you will reach in life, sooner or later. If it can be changed, that means it is not meant to be, so that’s not your destiny after all.
Consider your life as a triangle ABC. A is where you start, and C is your destiny. You can either take the road AC or ABC. But no matter which road you choose, you’ll still reach your destiny, which is unchangeable. In real life, you try to change your destiny and finally reach C. You think that you have changed your destiny. But if you don’t try to change it, you will inevitably reach point C. That’s what destiny really is.
Imagine yourself dangling from a cliff and only holding onto the edge with three fingers. If your destiny is to fall, you WILL fall. If you let go, of course, you will fall. If you try holding on as long as possible, you will soon get tired and fall. If you don’t get tired that soon, the edge may crumble and you’ll still fall. Or maybe some birds will come pecking at your fingers and you let go of pain, and you, too, will fall. However, if your destiny is that you WON’T, you won’t.
I think that everyone’s destiny is fixed. Some people work very hard before exams, and when they receive good results, they say that they have changed their destiny of getting bad grades. But in my opinion, when they work hard, it’s part of their destiny. They are destined to work hard and get good grades, so that isn’t really changing your destiny.
When people say their destiny has been changed, in fact, nothing has been changed. No one is able know their destiny, so you can’t say you can change it. It may be hard to believe this, but I think that sometimes you are destined to try to change your destiny. Even like now, we are all destined to think about Destiny.
