The type of language used in this writing piece is abstract. This piece is talking about Upper and Lower classes and comparing them. This is an example of an abstract piece of writing because class war is intangible. We can't see it or touch it. The whole piece is written in abstract and example would be "WHAT IS CLASS? Class is a way of looking at society that divides people into different categories based on how much money they're willing to make." The word vagabond is slang for homeless. Another example of slang that I found was " There are hundreds of scabs out there". This slang word means a worker who goes against trade union policies. It is a slang word that started in Australia.
