Integrity is believing in your standards and leading by example. Companies like Everest College and DeVry University hold a strong emphasis on making sure that the employees are given the "I Will" statement, which lists the behaviors that the Everest or DeVry view as fundamentals for the integrity of the business. During the last class, I proposed a question to the class about me using my leads from DeVry to call students about attending Everest College. I personally would not attempt to do it because of the consequence that may occur. I feel like as an employee of a for-profit school, I am always under the microscope because I can be easily recorded or video-taped. Staying in compliance in and will forever be in my nature. Based on the company's code of conduct, it is against Company policy and a violation of federal securities laws for any employee to trade in securities, including the Company's common stock, on the basis of material information not yet publicly disclosed. For example, I have to be extremely careful when giving prospective students information on career services statistics and salary information. If the information is not provided on the brochures that we give, we are not at liberty to discuss that particular information.
