Group Presentation Paper
For the group development project on week 4 the team dynamics arose on a positive environment; we worked together to come with ideas to contribute for the progress of the presentation. The team’s activities were conducted on a cooperative atmosphere where the group behaves together in a supportive and effective manner; in turn we achieved our goal successfully. Also we practiced and learned the principles of team group diversity, leadership stiles, and ethics standards within the group development task.
In sequence to develop this project the team followed roles and strategies based on
1. Presentation of ideas or ways to develop the presentation
2. Clarification of the facts. For instance if the information is related to the assignment
3. Ask for opinions and values of group members; make sure that different sides are included in the project
4. Supports and approval the effort of the group members
5. Resolving differences between the group members; looks for ways to reduce tension by using humor
6. Compromise. For instance accepting roles ‘changes for the benefits of the team group
7. Accept what the other group members say or decide even thought they not contributed with the decision
8. Clarify group members’ position; identify where the group member change direction and suggests how to get back on target
Our team’s subject presentation was based on Anger Management. We addressed a psycho-educational presentation about “strategies for manage your anger”, the subject included a robust information based on a high quality research as well to several class exercises where everybody participated. One of the challenges that we had to go through was getting on the same schedule to meet and discuss everything. With each one of us working different schedules it took a lot of sacrificing to be able to meet for a few hours. Not to mention everyone live in three different parts of San Diego so that was a challenge also. With working with each other in the past we know that each one of us was great to work with and also we were looking for excellence in our work and being dedicated to the group. With a lot of texting, calling, and planning we got it done to the day that we were going to meet. So finally we get
