Summary: PART ONE- Nic sheff is a homeless at the age of 21 because his parents kicked him out for the continuous use of drugs. He had been sober for 18 months until he decided to relapse one day. He meets up with a high school classmate Lauren, who also has a drug addiction. Nic runs into another old friend, Gack, who hooks him and Lauren up with meth and syringes. Nic let down his family and friends and knows he should sober up and live a right life.
Nic gets the idea to sell meth and become and big time dealer to make lots of money. Gack knew a guy named Joe from childhood who just got out of jail but could give them a rock of pure crystal for $300. Gack and Nic shoot up some to make sure its real. Joe says he hook them up with some more so they can start dealing out. Nic goes to an atm and gets $200, sets it on a dresser and next thing he knew Joe was gone with his money and his cell phone. Gack and Nic overprice the crystal they got and try an sell it back to make up for all the money they lost. They split the money made and Nic goes off with Lauren. Lauren OD's but not enough to kill her Lauren goes to see her therapist for a week. Nic stays at her house and buys more meth. Nic and Lauren go through about $200 worth of meth a day. Laurens parents threaten to kick her out if she doesn't go back to rehab. Nic is barely surviving off the street and is completely bankrupt. He goes to Laurens and bawls his eyes out saying he doesn't want to live like this anymore. A rehab plan is made for the both of them. Nic can't take it anymore and goes back to LA.
PART TWO- Nic says he doesn't believe in God but constantly prays as he was taught in rehab. Nic starts going to 12 step meetings. His friend and counselor Spencer
