Gender is the physical, behavioral, and personality traits that a group considers normal for its male and female gender. An individual's membership in one of two biologically distinct categories is defined as sex. Gender roles is a set of behaviors that indicates ones gender specifically.
School affects one's life because of the simple fact most people we meet will make us who we are, like the teachers in high school down to your college professors. Roommates or friends that you make in school will sometimes change you drastically. Also it can change your attitude with the people you meet if you get treated badly. School influenced me in a big way because of the simple fact that I was a new teen and I did not know any English. It took me about a year to learn perfect English but that was only because I pushed myself to learn and without the help of my teachers I don't know where I would be today. It took a lot of hard work but at the end of the day I graduated from high school and now I am in college trying to get my degree as a nurse. With hope and belief anyone can reach their dreams.
I think the strongest influence in our lives is our family in which we grew up in. The family is the most influential way to learn and to feel. How we look at religion, if we believe in god or not, how we look about immigrants or political views, those are things we decide by ourselves but these are all based on our family's impact. But as you get older your parents influence drops. When you are little you don't have a choice but once you get older you have choices.
Children are influenced by what they are exposed to at home. Until children leave the nest they will model their parent's behaviors. When two people decide to have a kids, either them being planned or not, they make a word to raise the child the best way they can. While some parents are wonderful, loving, proud parents some can be hurtful,
