Prenatal and Postpartum

This paper would identify two different scenarios which includes two different individuals; one who is six month pregnant and the other women who has recently had her baby. As a developmental psychologist I would be following two individuals who is identify as a six month pregnant women who is ill and lives in an low social class environment. The second individual is a postpartum woman who is being watch for the safety of her and her infants well being. The purpose of this paper is to provide advice and review scenarios of two different individuals of a postpartum woman and a six month pregnant woman.
Reviewing the history of the six month pregnant women comes across unimaginable. In her early pregnancy stages, weeks three through five subject A, (which is the six month pregnant individual) was unknown of being pregnant. Subject A admitted to drinking heavenly and partying with three to five hour of sleep consistently. Later following her history she begun to feel nauseated without understanding what it was. She took her unknown pregnancy for an everyday flu, which undoubtedly taking over the counter medication for seasonal flu. Remembering rather or not she had her menstrual cycle she decided to do a home pregnancy test; which indeed came back positive. Week seven to eight came as a turning point for her; she made an appointment with her nurse practitioner who referred her to a specialist in developmental psychologist. In week thirteen she witness spotting when using the restroom, her following nurse practitioner order an ultrasound which found her embryo with the virus rubella.
Understanding what patient B (postpartum woman) went through during her pregnancy led me to believe that patient A would or could end up as a postpartum patient as well. Reviewing the history of patient A might end up as an early pregnancy with complications. Patient A who is now six month pregnant worries about the virus found in her embryo which might pass to the fetus
