This paper will assess the impact of diversity in psychology major concepts, identify a couple of instances of sub disciplines, two instances of subtopics in psychology and clarify how the sub disciplines and subtopics known can be practical to the disciplines and venues in modern society. Feldman (2010) defines psychology as “the scientific study of behavior and mental processes”. Feldman (2010) also expresses that “psychologists try to define, predict and clarify human conduct and mental processes as well as serving to alter and enhance the lives of people.” The psychology field is not a stress-free job. This frequently leads to the consideration of diverse cultures and the consideration of the diversity of the people that are a part of the nation.

The primary describing part of psychology that remains is a data-based technological learning about behavior, within each step there is greater understanding that contributes to improvements in the growth within sound theories. Three significant parts connected to science

The focuses of clinical psychology are, “treatment, behavioral problems and understanding of psychological disorders, and assessments" (Plante, 2005, p. 7). Clinical psychology tries to apply the standards of psychology to comprehend, foresee, and treat numerous diverse intellectual, emotive, physical, mental, societal, and behavioral traits of human functioning (Plante, 2005). In addition, research proceedings and scientific approaches will be used by clinical psychologists to tactic a variety of human difficulties.
