Think Different

Throughout history, individuals have made significant contributions to the world.  Whether it was through science, art, business, and personal development of others.  These individuals have been viewed as unique or different just because they had ideas that were outside the realm of what people viewed as normal.  In the 90s, Apple, Inc. developed a marketing strategy to encourage people to think differently.  The marketing strategy used was to display images of 17 individuals who made major contributions to the world.  This commercial was labeled the “The Crazy Ones”, it was made to illustrate how people can think outside the box (Apple Inc., 2013).  The individuals included in this film made a difference in the world.  Though viewed as being crazy by some, dared to be different and, as a result, they developed ideas that lead to successful campaigns that made significant changes throughout the world.  Even though, those individuals were viewed as different; the world viewed their contributions as extraordinary in some cases and others not so much.  The bottom line here is they were not afraid to think outside the box, and that resulted in them making contributions that helped society survive and flourish during difficult times.  We will take a look at these individuals and give a brief overview of their significant contribution to the world.
