Writing an Era

Title- to determine the effects of previous stimuli of perception of an ambiguous figure

Condition 1- Showed the human faces first then the ambiguous ratman

Condition2- animals first and then ambiguous figure

Control- showing them the ambiguous figure

Abstract- you write it last because its like a blurb and its telling you everything about the experiment in a nutshell.

Introduction- a mini essay. In paragraphs and doesn’t have titles - 300 words

- Start by talking about visual perception

- Perceptual set

- Context or past experience

- Past research

- Your research; aim, hypothesis, IV and DV

Method-

Participants: A subheading

- Description (gender/ age) of the participants

- Sampling

- Allocation - how you allocated them to control or experiment groups.

- Conditions - condition 1 , 2 , 3 etc…

Procedure-

- Can be in dot point or paragraph point

- Mention EV's and how to reduce it

- Independent groups were used
