I value many things in life, my family, friends, tutors, and every little thing that is around me. However, there is one particular thing in life that I hold with utmost importance: Memories. In the journey of life, we are fortuned to gather as much memories as we can so we always make it a point to create meaningful ones. That's why I believe in god and thanking him for giving us another day of life every day, he is real, I can feel his presence, he sacrificed his life for us and without him we are nobody. the future. I think the purpose of life is to make the world go around, every single people in the world do.
What Happens When Basic Writers Come to College?
In this article, Bizzell proposes that there are notable world view differences between basic and standard writers. When new students begin education at academic level, basic writers can struggle to acquire the knowledge of their particular discourse.
Bizzell shows us that some scholars have argued that the expected English ability should be ignored, and students should communicate in a dialect that is comfortable for them. Others argue that because society demands a standard English form, student's should seek to learn the standard. However, some basic writers have found that their form of writing is not going to successful at the academe level.
Will new student's need to adapt to having a changed or new dialect? Bizzell believes "… because of the hegemonic powers of the academic world view … they will also find its acquisition well worth the risks."
