Islam is a religion that is based on the philosophy of servitude to the creator. The creator of all that there is, is Allah. Allah is considered to be incomprehensible by human senses. He is known through his attributes. Attributes that are to do with character rather than of what he is made off. You submit to the will of Allah by doing what he tells you to do. What he wants you to do id given in the Quran. the Quran is the word of Allah. The followers of Allah are called Muslims. There are over a billion muslims in the world. The prophet of Islam is Mohammed. He is the last messenger of Allah. Prayer is very important in Islam. Most important thing in Islam is Belief in Allah. There is heavon and Hell in Islam. They also believe that there were other messengers,. They also believe in Adam and Eve. They call Jesus Issa. They also believe in the virgin birth but don't believe that Jesus ids the son of God. There are five prayers in Islam. Asking for forgivness for the sins you commit is very important as this is the only way in which your sins will be forgiven. Muhammed lived in what is now know as Saudi Arabia. Five Pillars: Faith, Prayer, Alms, Pilgrimage, Fasting. Mosque services on Fridays. Ablutions before prayer. No alcohol or pork.
