Should the church continue to act as patron to the poor?
Loving others and acting with justice are vital to the purpose of the Christian church. As followers of Jesus Christ, the church acts as a powerful and transformational force that is fundamental in relieving people from poverty regardless of their nationality, gender, religion or race (Corbett & Fikkert, 2014). Therefore, churches should undertake to help transform the lives of the poor materially and spiritually. Churches should recognise that even the poor are precious and are created in the image of God. However, the poor who could receive assistance from the church include those who have steadfast faith and have not deserted the battlements of Christ. They should be able to stand firm against external pressures and threats of physical pains so that they set examples for the rest of the poor. In light of this the church should continue offering assistance to the poor.

How the Article Contributes to Good Business Practices
Man earns his daily living and is able to contribute to continuous advancement of science and technology and above all to elevate the cultural and moral level of the society within which he lives through work (Baum, 1982). Work in this case refers to any human activity that may be intellectual or manual. From the beginning of the universe, man was made in the image of God and was placed on the earth and made in charge of all things that were created. Therefore, man was called to work and this distinguishes him from other creatures. Only man has the ability to work and at the same time by working, man occupies his existence on earth. Therefore, man has continued to show their multiplicity of subduing the earth by improving technology that is applicable in most businesses today. Man has gone further to increasing their intellectual skills because of the rise of different kinds of employment demands. In summary, this article encourages man to work considering that man was assigned to take charge of all God’s creation.
