INTRODUCTION
The aim of this experiment is to first; find/investigate/verify or research a relationship between deflection and load of a simple supported beam and secondly is to determine the young's modulus of elasticity from the given beam.
Therefore the AIMS & OBJECTIVE OF THIS EXPERIMENT ARE:
1. To research a relationship between deflection and load of a simple supported beam
2. To determine the young's modulus of elasticity from the given beam.
Hence this report will include:
• the research methodology;
o explanation about the Apparatus used and
o the procedures followed to carry out the experiment
• Data/readings/results and observations of the experiment.
• Analysis of data that were found in the experiment
• Calculations of the experiment necessary to justify the findings
• Graphs to create a clear overview of the relation and accuracy of the experiment
• Results; After the experiment, calculations and graph analysis
• Discussion with my mates about the experiment if necessary
• Analysis based on the results
• Interpretation of the results
