Ficus deltoidea Jack (syn. Ficus diversifolia Blume) is locally known as Mas cotek or Serapat angin and is classified in the Moraceae family(Bailey and Bailey, 1976). It is an evergreen shrub or small tree with leaves broadly spoon-shaped to obovate. It has a spherical to round figs, ripening from dull yellow to orange and red (Brickell and Zuk, 1997). Traditionally, Ficus deltoidea is utilized for various condition and ailments, such as to treat diabetes, improve blood circulation, regain body strength, treat gout, use for birth control, antihypertensive and antidiarrhea agents (Andersen et al., 2003).
