All through the Diet Analysis Project, I dissected and investigated my eating regimen to inspect what I was consuming and what sorts of supplements I was getting over a three day course. Through this three-day period, two of the days were weekdays and the last was one day out of weekend. I then compared all aspects of my food intake with my suggested levels of nutrients for my dietary recommendation intake and the calories consumed through what I was eating. I needed to guarantee that the supplements I was getting would permit a decent fit for staying healthy and arriving at my required supplement levels. I discovered some intriguing facts, related to my eating regimen that were positive and some that required work and sutble modification.

I found that I had some levels of supplement deficiency in fats, vitamin D, vitamin E, calcium, magnesium, phosphorous, potassium and zinc. My protein levels are stable while my carbohydrate levels exceed the norm. I have to consume more fiber, vegetables and fruit in order to cutoff my high carbohydrate intake. I discovered that fiber can help diminish the danger of coronary illness and stroke, help keep up a solid body weight, help avoid constipation, and in particular, it helps battle tumor. It is imperative for me to consume a balanced meal so I can get all the vitamins and supplements my body needs to battle sickness as well as help keep my carb levels stable. In order to achieve this goal I must incorporate high-fiber grains with berries, pieces of fruit or dried apples and oranges, full grain pasta or brown rice, lentils, and almonds.

I also set up a nutritional goal plan for me to abide by as I continue to move towards my healthy food journey. I used the SMART guide line as a blueprint for my goals. SMART is an acronym that stands for Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic/Relevant, and Timely.
