Potential differences in care needs of an individual at different stages.
There are different care needs for individuals at different life stages.
One care need that applies to every individual is shelter this is because everybody would need a warm and safe place to live does not matter depending on any age.
Toddler
At this life stage as they are a child they would need their basic care needs to be met by a parent or guardian as they would not be able to do most of the things on their own.
The first need is making sure they are feed this is a care need because a child would need to have food to eat and it being given to them as they cannot do it on their own.
The second care need is hygiene it is important that one of the family member ensures that the child has clean clothes to wear and that they are taking showers/baths this can be done by making sure that they wash their clothes for them and they make sure that there is hot water runner in order to give them a bath as they are not able to do them things yet at that life stage
One last important care need is making sure that they are supporting the child with many different things for example when they are learning to read or supporting them in different activities so that they can develop and have confidence to do and take part in different things at home and school.
Teenager
At this life stage a teenagers potential care needs are different as they are a older and now have the potential to do the majority of things on their own.
Here are the different care needs for a teenager.
Shelter, food, support, hygiene, love, care, warmth, education etc.
A teenager would need all these care needs to be met in order for them to be able to develop well and healthy because they have had the correct care needs or the important ones that need.
As they are a teenager they are now more able to provide and do most of these things for their self but might still need to rely on someone for some things if they are still living at home one example care be receiving support from their family members or even friends if they live with friends.
