Kava for Anxiety: Is Short-Term Use Safe?

        

The Article says that the Kava extract in a water-soluble can effectively treat anxiety for a short term period of time. The natural plant was usually better than any other synthetic pill for anxiety and any related disorder but according to studies cases of liver damage or even liver failure were reported that’s why it was directly banned in some countries in Europe like Germany, France, and UK and Canada. This plant was actually widely used in Pacific Islands long time ago was in fact without any reports of liver problems. For this modern time it is use in packaged food as preservatives. In the conducted experiment of the group, they have 37 participants with anxiety disorder. They give placebo pills for the first week then half of the participants took another pill but for the third week of experiment the half took kava tablets and the others placebo tablets. As results the depression levels dropped fro the patients who took kava tablets. To conclude, kava-kava, a depressant drug is a safe drug for patients who have anxiety just for short term period.
