“Earth is amazing! There are these things called farms. They put seeds in the ground, pour water on them, and they grow into food, like pizzas!” In the animated movie, “Wall-e,” mankind abandoned earth because it became covered with trash from products sold by the powerful multi-national “Buy N Large Corporation.” WALL-E, a garbage collecting robot has been left to clean up the mess. One day, EVE, a sleek and dangerous reconnaissance robot, is sent to Earth to find proof that life is once again sustainable. WALL-E falls in love with EVE and shows her a living plant he found among all the trash and ruins. Throughout the movie, wall-e and Eve, among other characters try to save the plant from being destroyed, for it is the plant that will save planet, Earth.

There is little difference between a brand new aluminum can and one made from recycled metal. With the massive amounts of trash produced every day, diverting as much waste to a recycling facility to be reused protects natural resources and extends the life of our environment. I grew up watching my family recycle cans. They always take out the cans from trash bins and put them in recycling bins. I don't think I will ever understand how a person is capable of throwing an aluminum can in the trash can when
