Perfect Man

As I stand in the dull, boring, musty smelling hallway waiting at the elevator doors, I am shoved aside by the "perfect person." Left there standing alone, I watch the elevator doors close with him inside as he waves goodbye with a devilish grin on his face. I shake my head in frustration and disbelief, that my life is constantly tormented by this so-called perfect man who wears a pin-striped suit with his power red tie.
There is no time for me to break away for a quiet, relaxing lunch. With my subway sandwich in one hand and a stack files in the other, in walks the woman with the dark brown shiny hair to hand me more mail to file. Needing to free up my hands, I toss the stack of files on the desk and my place my sandwich on its paper and I begin to file quickly the mail that has just arrived. As I turn around to grab my sandwich, in walks the perfect man, taunting me with my lunch in his hand and his evil smirk staring me down. While he chews away at my meal, I stand there astonished and raise my hands in frustration and confusion. He teasingly acts like he is going to swing at me with his fist closed tight, I raise my files to my chest to protect myself, as he begins to chuckle and smile at me with his devilish grin. He points for me to punch him on his check, and attempt to ignore him and just continue to file the mail. He drops my sandwich back on its paper and shakes his head back and forth at me like I am a pitiful coward. I stare at my ruined lunch and I wonder what can I to do.
Sitting at my confined cubicle, I take a deep breath, as I read my post-it note stuck on my top cabinet, reminding me today is the big promotion meeting. As I head to the meeting in a rush, I adjust my tie, passing the woman with the dark brown shiny hair in the hall, she wishes me luck.
