Save the Beauty with Renewable

The people who live on this beautiful world have officially ruined it. Mother nature has blessed Earth with stunning seven natural wonders. People come around the world to engulf it’s beauty. Now one of the seven natural wonders of the world is about to die. The alluring Great Barrier Reef, located off the coast of Australia, has brought so much opportunities into this world. It originated millions of years ago, home to more than four hundred different species of coral that make up 3,000 individual reefs making the Great Barrier Reef the largest coral reef ecosystem in the world (Hughes). The most pristine part of the reef is the northeast coast of Queensland, Australia, but now more than 81 percent of that part is now bleached (“Coral Reef”). The reef used to be filled with vibrant colors like blazing orange, soft blue, and bright yellow, but now it’s just plain white. Today the world is facing a crisis. Everyone is so caught up in these social events such as which artist came out with a new song, who is dating who, when does the new IPhone come out, but do these people realize that the world they live on could be ending soon due to their actions? Did people think that the Great Barrier Reef would last longer than it has if people have not been throwing anything they want on the side of the road? There needs to be action to preserve this beautiful planet, to save treasures like the Great Barrier Reef. Global warming is a real thing and it needs to be tamed. If people don’t take actions into their own hands, not only the stunning Great Barrier Reef will be completely gone, more and more of beautiful scenes on this beautiful planet will die. The Earth is getting warmer and the sea levels are rising and that’s a scary thing. Nevertheless, here is the brightside of things, the Great barrier reef is not completely dead. Yes, the northern part of the reef has been ruined, but it is not gone. Scientist say that it will probably take ten to fifteen years to get back the coral in the reef (“Scientist Confirm”). Despite that, it won’t get better without the effort of the people. The people have done a lot to damage the planet, but they can fix it now, just like how you would eat an elephant, one bite at a time. Starting off with The Great Barrier Reef, people can fix it just by being more eco friendly to the environment. Some examples, carpooling, recycling, and do not litter. The smallest action affects the world. The earth is 4.543 billion years, it already has been through a lot. Now it’s time to make the Earth great again.

The Great Barrier Reef is an extraordinary thing, it is the world’s biggest single structure made up of living organisms (“Great Barrier”). It was selected as UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981. The Great Barrier Reef is so colorful, diverse, and busy. In 1975, the Reef was created through the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Act
