Corruption one form is bribing. The definition of bribery is well defined in Black’s Law Dictionary, which describes its meaning as receiving, soliciting, and offer or to get the favor of particular items from the authorized person for the wanted action. Other ways to understand it more clearly is that to gain the favor it can be given in a form of money, well, action, property or persuade in public or an official capacity. So, in my opinion, “bribing” is an unethical or legal. The clear illustration of active bribery in legal point of view is directly or indirectly submission of gifts in the form of money goods, etc.

According to the case, Siemens AG bribery scandal rocked the business world. In 2006 Siemens AG was under investigation by German prosecutors. During 2006 and 2007, Siemens was in news and under investigation because of its bribery scandals. The scandals involve the names of some company’s employees gain contrast and slush fund to bribe foreign officials. Police officers along with tax inspectors and prosecutors raid around 30 offices and private homes of Siemens and employees to investigate bribe, fraud in company funds and tax evasion in Munich and other cities of Germany.

In addition, at Siemens, wrongful practices seem to be tolerated. There were several early warnings for the Siemens ought to wake up to the suspicious nature of transactions.
