Case Analysis (20%) (Individual)
You are expected to submit one written case analysis from among the assigned cases. Three
requirements you should keep in mind as you prepare your analysis:
1. The analysis must be individual work, and cannot overlap with your team’s case
presentation.
2. All submissions must be delivered in hard-copy at room K1127 (there will be a box
outside) prior to the very first tutorial in which the case will be discussed (prior to
Wednesday 8:45 am).
3. The case analysis should adhere to the following guidelines:

- Double-spaced, 1” margins, single-sided, Times New Roman 12 font, page numbers.

- Be concise – avoid passive voice and long sentences.
- Use bullet points to list evidence in support of your key points.
- Ensure that the use of course concepts is explicit and appropriate.
- Emphasize the evidence – eliminate unfounded speculation and opinion.

- Have a reference list, with proper in-text citations.

- Assure that any quantitative analyses are readily understandable (usually in an
exhibit). The reader should be able to replicate your work easily.
Strong case analysis will not:
- Focus too heavily on minor (but interesting) issues.
