Artificial intelligence (AI) has witnessed unprecedented boom in recent years. The use of modern AI technique is so pervasive that AI may surpass human intelligence; therefore, some people raise the concern that AI will surpass the human intelligence and its development should be controlled and regulated. But to be frank, I cannot agree with them. There are numerous reasons why I hold no confidence on them and I would explore only a few primary ones here.
First of all, AI could be pervasively used in many fields to help people's work and life. For example, AI breaks into the health care industry by assisting doctors. More specifically, AI helps doctors monitor multiple high-risk patients.
Second, AI contributes to the growth of the other industry, like automotive industry, through creation and evolution of self-driving vehicles. Many companies, like Google and Apple, have begun the research of self-driving cars and the developments of AI accelerate the innovation of self-driving.
Moreover, AI did replace some people's works but it also facilitate the advance of the society. The basic work will be replaced while people begin to learn knowledge and become more talented workers.
Anyway, I admit that AI has lead to a revolution in human affair; however, such revolution is not so bad from my part of view. On the contrary, AI will not only help people's life but also accelerate the development of other industries. Needless to say, the revolution taken by AI will advance the social development. Therefore, I still believe that the development of AI should not be regulated.
