Bakunin’s approach to politics is certainly an interesting one. Bakunin’s political views are through an Anarchist lens. Michale Bakunin’s outline of social and political principals offer pros and cons on the subjects of religious belief, labor, property, as well as the youth
• How will he treat religious belief?
o Bakunin’s views on religion are to completely abolish it. This includes denying the existence of a supernatural God, as well as denying any intervention this force may or may not have on society. Bakunin believes that society should replace worshiping God with love and respect for humanity. By this idea society asserts human reason as the sole truth. Abolition of religion would also eliminate any privileged or state-aided institutions. Bakunin’s ideologies also adhere to the idea of “free marriage”. Goverments and established religions place restrictions on the marriage of two individuals. These restictions prevent certain groups of people from joing in marriage, as well as getting a divorce, if need be. Bakunin’s views on the abolition of established religion ultimately allows individuals to believe and live as they see fit. Moreover, the absence of a set religion would ensure that one indivudals views do not become supierior to the next indivuals. This puts emphasis on individualism, as well as free thinking.
Pros are that humans should not be good to one another only because a ‘God’ says to do so. Rather, one should be good for the overall betterment of society

o Bakunin’s visions on labor and property are directly correlated to his views on religion. Bakunin believes in the ablotion of banks and all state credit instituions.
