2.0 BACKGROUND OF THE EVENT
Traditionally, we already get used to the idea of mothers and daughters sharing common things together, while mothers and sons start out with differences and keep on living up the differences when he keeps growing up. The lack of interpersonal communication between mothers and sons made sons comfortable sharing anything common with their father. An 8-year old kid might think his life and activities cannot be associated with their mother as he thought his message can't be easily decoded by their mother.
According to e How.com, children grow up with a "male code" and "female code". Female code comes easily to mother, because the female instinct is there, while male code is different and mothers need to learn about the code to understand their sons better. However, not all the case is the same. Some of them refuse to get close with their mothers, as they feel ashamed of the feedback and the impression they will receive by their schoolmates claiming that they are a mommy's boy.
That is why this program is proposed to be held. This first ever organizing of this event called Mother and Sun – Fun under the Sun has received the agreeableness of MyTV3 to be the official media partner. Towards this event the sons can learn how to improve relationships with family especially to his mother so that what they might think before this can be cleared out. This event can also instill self-awareness to both sides which is mother and son so that both of them can increase their relationship dimension to each other and also within family.
By doing the activities that we have prepared for them, they can detect their self-reflexive and at the same time it can reduce the son's shyness towards his mother so that the relationship becomes closer.
