Children’s education is expensive. In some countries, the government pays for some of or all of the costs involved.

Do the advantages of this practice outweigh its disadvantages?

It is true that expenditure on children’s education is increasing <”high” deleted - not coherent> in some countries and authorities in these countries allocate funds to pay for part or all of the education costs . Although it also has drawbacks, in my opinion, I believe that it has more advantages, such as improving <”the” deleted> national development and social stability .

On the one hand, one of the advantages is that it can increase the overall literacy rate. More children from different backgrounds are able to receive education, regardless of their socioeconomic status , as less tuition fees make education more affordable and attractive. Once the literacy rate goes up, it may significantly contribute to a nation’s development. For example, Japan’s government pays for kid’s education and Japan now has an almost 100 percent literacy rate, also making it one of the wealthiest countries in the world
