Unit 2: Equality, diversity and rights in health and social care.
1. Research the definition of equality, diversity and rights?
Equality-This means not being prejudice against different individuals because of their race, gender, orientation, culture as well as disability and beliefs and providing everyone with the same opportunities. An example of equality is having respect for those who practice their religion by allowing them to have their religious holiday during their fasting period. Diversity-This is term is known for everyone valuing each other with respect regardless of age, ethnicity, and sexual orientation.
