Education Essay

By Akhila Kolla

Education is an important aspect of all mankind's journey through life. It's the knowledge that grows from this wonderful word that makes it so incredible. It teaches anyone anything, but some people don't comprehend how lucky they're to be educated while others cannot due to social statuses. Education changes the route adults take, and everyone should be allowed the same choices regardless of their wealth.  It isn't ethical to not allow a paupers child to not go to school even he/she has just the same amount of potential as a wealthy child, everyone should have an education to create new ideas and make the world a developed place, and kids need to develop their consciences through schooling to make them better people. Therefore, education should be considered a right since every kid deserves a proper education to create a path for their future.

Education should be a right because every kid, including the poor ones deserves to go to school since they all have the same potential. It's not right to simply toss away another child since their parents might have made a mistake in their choices creating severe consequences for the parents and the poor, innocent children.  The children should have a chance to clear their parent's mistakes by receiving a proper education and getting a good job to support a family and themselves, since they have the same potential as any other aristocrat.  Every kid can be taught as long as one receives a good teacher who's really attentive. If the other kids could do it why can't the poor? Kids need to learn how to read and do basic math to and can only accomplish this by attending school. Reading and basic math is important for when the kids grow up they have to read directions or fill out an application and keep track of their money, and all the kids are capable of doing this. In addition, if education was a privilege instead of a right like colleges today, unhealthy children would have to pay fees for their education and wouldn't be affordable which would take away a bright future from a child with potential, and would force a child to follow their parent's footsteps and become unsuccessful.

Education should be a right because we need more educated people in the world to improve it. If children aren't given an education since it's a privilege and some kids don't have the money or time America would be full of many uneducated people and won't improve the world but will make no progress. When it comes to voting, the government needs to make more educated decisions concerning the will of the American Public. The kids of today will make up this government and they need to be well educated to make accurate decisions. If they make one wrong decision, America could become a financial disaster, and completely demolish. There need to be doctors to treat one's health, engineers to shelter us, lawyers to defend our constitutional rights. None of these occupations can be filled if today's generation isn't provided with a proper education.  America wouldn't be able to provide money for improvement in science or any other field because there are very few people who would be educated and filled these basic occupations and the American government would have to pay these few educated citizens a lot of money for the work they do.  Making education a privilege will not allow many students to attend school turning America into an uneducated country with no improvement.
