Times have passed, and things have changed continuously. From people’s apparel up to applied science, our generation has grown from the vintage sphere to a newfangled world. Due to these radical changes, our generation has adapted into the new creations bestowed upon us. These changes could lead us into the better path or a destructive road. As we experience such immense modernizations, the greatest challenge for our generation would be our lack of identity of ourselves. This has been since the nature of our generation has always been twirling around the world surrounded by the influences around the world.
To start with, the physical beauty has always been an important aspect to our generation. Teenagers like us most likely wanted to dress like the Hollywood actors and actresses in the opposite side of the Earth. We always had in mind that we should always be updated to the latest fashion and pulchritude. Many boys and girls have appreciated the different hair and skin colors of others, and affected them such that they could not admire their very own skin and hair colors. With these insecurities of our generation, we tend to not recognize ourselves being admirable in our own ways.
Moving on, our generation’s inadequate attention to one’s very own culture and traditions has brought different occurrences all around. For example, a person wanted to learn a different language rather than engulfing himself more into his mother tongue. A person also loved to travel to various countries, but didn’t have time to indulge in his own. A person has always adored a diverse kind of music rather than music of his own nation. Nevertheless, these acts could lead into orbitting a new dimension, benefitting one’s soul. Looking over the other side, these could weave a new intricate character for each of us in our generation.
