Introduction to Progression

The world we live in is constantly changing throughout the progression of time. Society has to be aware of all the new innovations that enter our lives on a daily basis for it runs the world we live in. The word “progress” is used to explain the advancement or development toward a better modern solution. Progress is the next step in order to achieve a required goal. Every innovation that has entered into our lives has a specific purpose. That purpose is later altered to better suit the economic condition of the time. Humanity wants a faster and more efficient way of completing any required tasks. Civilization has been able to recognize progress since the beginning of time, however during the 18th and 19th century The Industrial Revolution brought about changes in agriculture, manufacturing, mining, transportation and technology which had an effect on the social and cultural conditions of that decade (Radke, “The Industrial Revolution”, Humber College, September 2011). As progress continues to occur, society becomes educated on new forms of technology, as it is being developed with the intention to better serve society. Technology has both positive and negatives features. Negative features create problems throughout society, creating debates of whether the form of technology serves humanity or create a problem. As time goes on we will no longer have a choice but to accept the new forms of technologies that we are faced with. We have to accept what is being introduced due to the fact there is no other option, people who are not comfortable with have to switch to technology in order to get specific tasks done. Progress in the future will be filled with many surprises; economic conditions will drastically change with the progress of technology. The world in the future will be a very different place, which no one can predict at this point in time; we can make estimations of what we think is going to happen by looking at previous situations of how technology continues to change society

Recognition and Progress

During the era of The Industrial Revolution many new innovations were created that transformed society. During this time humanity adapted to the changes that the progression of technology brought fourth. The expansion of technology revolutionized civilization, changing humanity. Machines were created to minimize the hours of intensive labour in the workplace for human beings. This advancement efficiently impacted society for now work was completed quicker in a more effective manner. One of the most impactful machines in the duration The Industrial Revolution was known as The Spinning Jenny. The Spinning Jenny was a multi-spool spinning frame that reduced the amount of labour time needed to produce yarn. Workers were able to work eight more spools at once, as opposed to just one.
