McCain frozen food is one of the popular products in the world, and also the company is the world’s leading manufacturer of frozen potatoes. Although the company is perhaps well known as potato products, there are a lot of product lines such as pizza. This report will represent that the marketing mix of a McCain frozen pizza which is being sold in the Australian market. There are four elements to evaluate the company. Firstly, the target market will be explained by analysis of the company’s composition and segmentation. Secondly, as analysing the 4Ps of the company which include the product, Promotion, Place, and Price, the marketing mix will be reported. Thirdly, the company create competitive advantages in what ways for the marketing mix. Lastly, an evaluation of how effectively the marketing mix offers a solution on the target market’s need. Through these topics, at the end of this report, I will evaluate about the company’s marketing mix.
The Australian target market
The target market means that a specific group of consumers at which the company aims its products and services. To explain specifically, it could be in terms of age, sexual, orientation, gender, economic class, religion, ethnicity, or location. In addition this process actually allows creating profiles of the typical consumers who will likely buy the products. Identifying the target market is an important step to develop the marketing plan.
