CHAPTER ONE
1.0 Introduction
1.1 Background Information
On 27th January, 2017, President Donald Trump penned down a new executive order that banned the travel of six Muslim countries which barred their citizens from entering the United States borders. This was a moment that saw a lot people reacting to such an order within the country and all over the world. This inconclusively blocked the refugees who are from Syria from entering the United States, banishing all evacuees from resettlement for 120 days, and disallowing nationals of seven dominatingly Muslim nations from entering the United States for 90 days.
Mayhem quickly emitted at airplane terminals, courts, and political workplaces around the nation. This led to victimization of a large number of the refugees as well as travelers whereby they were kept with practically zero clarification, denied access to attorneys, and sometimes put on return flights back to mischief's direction. This clearly showed a very bad picture for the nation which is closely watched across the globe.
Broad inquiries encompass the bedlam that ejected across the nation in light of President Trump's first travel ban on the six Muslim countries. Because the administration has declined to hand over data that would permit the general population to assess how the boycott was executed, American Civil Liberties Union partners have documented many claims around the nation to request points of interest. However, it has not been coming up with a summation of the substantiated information that could provide enough evidence for signing such an order (Talbot, 2017).
